Ingredients
1 cup all purpose flour
1 Tbs granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
4 Tbs unsalted butter, melted
2 bananas, thinly sliced
2 Tbs confetti sprinkles
maple syrup, for serving
spreadable butter, for serving
Directions
  1. Preheat waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s directions. In a large bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the eggs. Add milk and melted butter to the eggs. Whisk to combine.
  3. Pour into flour mixture while whisking. Stir in the banana slices and sprinkles.
  4. Pour just enough batter into each waffle chamber to fill. Close the lid, and cook until golden and toasted.
  5. Serve warm with syrup and butter.

Note: To serve the next day, let the waffles cool completely. Wrap tightly, and refrigerate. Serve with cream cheese, cinnamon and honey, peanut butter and jelly, or hazelnut spread and jelly.
